There is a boy named Rob who sees his neighbor pushed out a window and gets hung. His sister's wedding is tomorrow. He believes the man who pushed her is after him because Rob saw him. He gets trapped in the abandon house with the man who wants to kill him. His dad and the police come and save the day just befor the murder, Derek, tries to kill him for the umpteenth time!

Like Nick said lots of things happen in this book. One thing he foregot to say was that they Derek caught the house on fire to try to kill Rob, but he failed. Derek attempts to kill him many other times , but also fails. In the end derek is aarrested and rob tells about what had happened and what he saw.
