In The View from the Cherry Tree Rob (the main character) has a jar of spiders that are pretty much a hassel to everyone but him, anyway the jar of spiders save him when he is being chased by Mrs.Calloway's murderer,Derek (her own nephew), is scared by the spiders and Rob gets away. Derek is then arrested.

Night of the twisters

The Night of the twisters book is a book that has the main impotent character is Arthur. At the beginning Arthur doesn't want to take care of his little brother Brian, but his dad makes him take care of him so he does. The weather is horrible Arthur's mom calls Mrs. Smiley, but Mrs. Smiley doesn't answer so Arthur's mom go's to Mrs. Smiley and so his mom tells him if a tornado comes go to the basement and stay there and his mom leaves them. Arthur's friend has the T.V. turned to the weather channel and so the channel said tornado warning so Arthur go's up stairs to get Brian. At last Arthur and his family is saved, but Mrs. Smiley dies.

After reading all of your blog posts, I am super proud of the students who have gotten on here and posted about their books.  It is exciting to see the different ideas and comments you all have on the various books.  I hope each of you will think, hmmm maybe I should try (insert one of 3 books here) next in my reading.  I also like how you all are being respectful of each others points of view.  I have enjoyed reading all 3 books.  I can honestly say, I was not very interested in The View from the Cherry Tree at first, but that would have to be my favorite.  Night of the Twisters ranks up there with Superfudge (MY FAVE BOOK EVER).  I have to agree with some of our discussions in class that the book is WAY better than the cheesy movie.  I believe the details of the story are better in the book and you can make the image of what is happening.  Finally My Side of the Mountain has so many connections to Hatchet and other Brian books.  I love it, too.  I am excited to start 3rd quarter and see what each group will choose!!!

There was a boy named Dan & he had a friend named Aurthor. The book I'm telling you about is the Night of the twister . It is about that a tornado passed by Dans neighborhood & it destroied most of every bodies house.

There is a boy named Rob who sees his neighbor pushed out a window and gets hung. His sister's wedding is tomorrow. He believes the man who pushed her is after him because Rob saw him. He gets trapped in the abandon house with the man who wants to kill him. His dad and the police come and save the day just befor the murder, Derek, tries to kill him for the umpteenth time!

The night of the twisters was an interesting book with Dan and Arther in a black letter day ( for throws of you who don't know what a black letter day is it is a terrible day) But what was a red letter day( a good day) when he got a new bike tuned out to be a black letter day when his friends and family were in danger.But what I thought was the most scary was when Arther wanted to go out where the tornado was and go to his house to warn his parents. But thank fully Dan convinced Arther not to go because it was to dangerous. But thank fully they made it threw the tornado and they found Arther's parents safe and also found Dan's Mom and later found out that Dan's Dad was okay to soon they found that most of the people were okay. then a year latter the government gave out some substitute homes for the people to live in.

But Ithink you have to have some of those boring parts to make a good book

I'm reading a book called The View From the Cherry Tree. In the book a boy named Rob Mallory has witnessed his neighbor, Mrs. Calloway, being pushed out a window and hung by binocular traps. His family and the police think it was just a freak accident, but Rob knows he saw someone. He thinks the "murderer" of Mrs. Calloway is after him because Rob saw the old lady pushed. What is he going to do? INTENCE!!!

The Best Christmas Pagent Ever

So far we have read that the Herdmand's are horrible kids. It says the only thing that is different about them is they all have bruises in different places, and there was 6 of them. They say that the Herdman's have the meanest looking cat that anyone has ever saw! the narrator little brother tells Leroy one of the Herdman's that they get the best treats at Sunday School. So the Herdman's show up that Sunday. They say that the Herdman's didn't do any prayers, listen to any Bible verses or sing any songs.The only thing that they did was steal some money when the basket came to them. But sadly Mrs. Armstrong the director of the Christmas pageant broke her leg and now Beth the narrator mother Grace has to take over.

so far I think the book is hysterical.
